How the Conversion Works
All conversions use the gram as the intermediate base unit. Every unit has an exact factor expressing how many grams it equals. To convert from unit A to unit B, the tool first multiplies your input value by the grams-per-unit factor for A, then divides by the grams-per-unit factor for B:
