The Small Caps Text Generator rewrites ordinary typing as Unicode small capitals — ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴛʜɪꜱ — so the styling travels with the text into Instagram and X bios, Discord names, YouTube titles, Reddit posts, Notion headings, Steam profiles and spreadsheet labels. Because each letter is swapped for a different character, not wrapped in a style, the look survives copy and paste into apps that strip HTML and CSS entirely.

Unicode small caps vs the CSS font-variant property

Typographers have set small capitals for centuries, and browsers expose them through font-variant: small-caps. That is a rendering instruction: it works only inside a page you control, and copying the rendered text hands you back plain letters. This tool works one level down, at the character level. The letter a is replaced by at codepoint U+1D00, h becomes ʜ at U+029C, and the string that lands in your clipboard is genuinely made of those characters.

Where the glyphs come from

These letterforms were never designed for decoration. They were encoded for linguists, and they live in three blocks: IPA Extensions, Phonetic Extensions and Latin Extended-D. Phoneticians use ɴ, ʀ and ʙ to mark specific sounds, which is why the set is incomplete for anyone treating it as a font.

The q and x problem

Unicode has no small capital X at all, and small capital Q arrived so late that many phones and older desktops still render it as an empty box. Rather than silently producing a broken-looking string, the generator exposes the choice: use a nearest look-alike, drop to lowercase, raise to a full capital, or leave the letter exactly as typed.
